Abstract:
The invention relates to a lighting device for a specified dashboard of a vehicle, which dashboard has at least one instrument (10) for indicating a state variable of the vehicle, comprising a light source (26) and a light-guiding body (18), into which light from the light source (26) is coupled and in which said light is guided, wherein the light-guiding body (18) has a predefined light outlet region, by means of which light escapes from the light-guiding body (18), wherein the light-guiding body (18) is designed to surround the specified dashboard at least in some regions, and the light outlet region (22, 24) is designed in such a way that the light emitted by the light-guiding body (18) radiates mainly in a direction pointing away from the instrument (10) when the light-guiding body is mounted on the specified dashboard as intended.
