"Lighting decorative group"
[0001] The present invention relates to a lighting assembly having a particularly decorative impact.
[0002] On the current economic scene, it is essential for a company to have good visibility before consumers, both for the high quality of the products offered and for the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the same.
[0003] For such reason, some companies propose devices on the market with unique functional characteristics, so as to distinguish themselves from their competitors. The more unique such functional characteristics are, the greater the visibility to the consumer.
[0004] The purpose of the present invention is to realise an extremely unusual lighting assembly from a functional point of view, able to arouse wonder and appreciation in consumers .
[0005] The lighting assembly will be described below with reference to the appended figures, wherein:
[0006] - figure 1 shows the lighting assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention;
[0007] - figure 2 shows a vase of the assembly in figure 1, in separate parts; and
[0008] - figure 3 shows the lighting assembly according to a further embodiment of the present invention. [0009] According to the present invention, the lighting assembly 1 comprises a vase 2 consisting of an annular wall 4 in electrically insulating material, for example cylindrical and transparent. The annular wall 4 defines an inner compartment 5.
[0010] Preferably, moreover, the vase 2 comprises a base 6, arranged on the bottom of the annular wall 4 to seal close it.
[0011] The base 6 preferably has a housing compartment, positioned on the side opposite that facing towards the inner compartment 5.
[0012] Preferably, moreover, the vase 2 comprises a cover 8, which can be fitted, for example by snapping, onto the bottom of the base 6 to close the housing compartment.
[0013] In addition, the assembly 1 comprises a light source, for example LED, for example housed in the base 6, preferably facing so as to light the inner compartment 5.
[0014] Furthermore, the assembly 1 comprises a power socket suitable to be electrically connected to an electricity source, for example a battery or to the electric mains.
[0015] Preferably, the power socket is housed in the base 6.
[0016] In addition, the assembly 1 comprises a power circuit comprising a fixed branch. In particular, the fixed branch electrically connects the power socket to the light source.
[0017] In addition, the fixed branch is at least partially engaged with the annular wall 4 of the vase 2; for example, the fixed branch comprises a wire or a rod 10 fitted to the annular wall 4, for example externally to it, and a ring 12, positioned at the free edge of the annular wall 4, so as to have at least a portion in the inner compartment 5.
[0018] Preferably, moreover, the power circuit comprises a moving branch, separable from the fixed branch.
[0019] For example, the lighting assembly 1 comprises a stem 20 of a plant, for example of a flower or a plant, constituting the moving branch of the power circuit.
[0020] By inserting the stem 20 in the vase 2, so as to come into electric contact with the light source and with the fixed branch of the circuit, for example resting on the ring 12, the power circuit closes and the light source is enabled.
[0021] In such embodiment, the light source is active if the stem 20 is present in the vase 2 in contact with the fixed branch and with the light source.
[0022] According to a further embodiment, the assembly 1 comprises a preset quantity of a conductive liquid 30, such as water, contained in the inner compartment 5 of the vase 2 which electrically connects the light source and the stem 20. In such embodiment, the power circuit closes as a result of contact of the fixed branch with the stem and of the stem with the liquid 30, in turn connected to the light source.
[0023] In said embodiment, consequently, the light source is enabled only if the stem 20 is present in the vase 2 in contact with the fixed branch and if a minimum quantity of liquid 30 is present in the vase 2.
[0024] According to yet a further embodiment, the assembly 1 comprises a preset quantity of a conductive liquid 30, such as water, contained in the inner compartment 5 of the vase 2 which electrically connects the light source with the fixed branch of the power circuit. In such embodiment, the power circuit closes as a result of contact of the liquid 30 with the fixed branch and with the light source.
[0025] In said embodiment, consequently, the light source is enabled only if a minimum quantity of liquid 30 is present in the vase 2, regardless of the presence or not of the stem 20.
[0026] According to a further embodiment, the assembly 1 comprises a small ring 40 in conductive material, suitable for being inserted on the stem 20 to facilitate electric contact between the stem and the fixed branch of the power circuit.
[0027] According to yet a further embodiment, the small ring 40 is integral to the fixed branch of the power circuit, for example fixed to the ring 12 of the edge of the annular wall 4.
[0028] Innovatively, the assembly described above describes an unusual functioning, such as to attract the attention of a consumer.
[0029] It is clear that a person skilled in the art may make modifications to the assembly described above so as to satisfy contingent requirements. Such variations also fall within the sphere of protection as defined ยท by the following claims.
