Abstract:
A lighting device is provided with a device main body having a plate-shaped section comprising a non-transparent material, a main light source unit that is arranged on the surface side of the plate-shaped section, and an auxiliary light source unit that is arranged on the rear side of the plate-shaped section and that is provided with linear light sources. The linear light sources are arranged in positions having differing offset amounts (h1, h2) from the rear surface of the plate-shaped section (5). Each linear light source is configured from an array of a plurality of light-emitting elements. In addition, the linear light sources that have a larger offset amount (h1) from the rear surface of the plate-shaped section comprise more light-emitting elements exhibiting the highest light emission efficiency than the linear light sources that have a smaller offset amount from the rear surface of the plate-shaped section.
