Abstract:
Provided is a configuration capable of preventing or reducing luminance unevenness which occurs on a light-emitting surface in a lighting device. A backlight device (24) is provided with an LED light source (28) having directivity, and a diffuser plate (20) for diffusing light from the LED light source (28). One plate surface (20a) of the diffuser plate (20) is exposed to the LED light source (28). The LED light source (28) is disposed so that the incident angle (s) of the light from the LED light source (28) on the plate surface (20a) of the diffuser plate (20) is an acute angle.
