Abstract:
A lighting device according to an embodiment is provided with: first and second light sources which respectively emit laser light beams; first and second ends which are respectively irradiated with the light beams from the light sources; and a light-guiding plate having a first surface which reflects incident light and a second surface from which the light is emitted. The light-guiding plate has a central portion, a first portion in which the light beam from the second light source is emitted with high brightness from the second surface, and a second portion in which the light beam from the first light source is emitted with high brightness from the second surface. The central portion has a brightness slope characteristic that the brightness becomes higher sequentially from the first end side to the second end side when the light beam from the first light source is emitted from the second surface, and the brightness becomes higher sequentially from the second end side to the first end side when the light beam from the second light source is emitted from the second surface.
