Abstract:
Disclosed is a technique for improving the workability associated with the connection of wiring lines in a lighting device and preventing the invasion of grits and dusts into the device. Specifically disclosed is a backlight device (12) comprising: a chassis (14) which has a hole (33); an LED (17) which is a light source to be accommodated in the chassis (14); a relaying/connection component (21) which can be electrically connected to the LED (17) upon being inserted into the hole (33) from the outside of the chassis (14) and can relay the supply of an electric power to the LED (17); and a blocking member (34) which can block between the hole (33) and the relaying/connection component (21) to be inserted into the hole (33).
