Abstract:
In the present invention, the backlight device (12) comprises: an LED (15); a light guide plate (17) in which an edge surface facing the LED (15) among the outer peripheral edge surfaces serves as a light entry edge surface (17a) where light enters, and in which one of a pair of plate surfaces serves as a light exit plate surface (17b) wherefrom the light is let out; an inner-side frame-shaped part (20b) surrounding the light guide plate (17) thereby being in a face-to-face state with the outer peripheral edge surfaces thereof; a light guide plate holding part (24) provided in such a form as to be inserted between the inner-side frame-shaped part (20b) and at least a portion of the outer peripheral edge surfaces of the light guide plate (17) to hold the light guide plate (17); an outer-side frame-shaped part (21b) surrounding the inner-side frame-shaped part (20b) in such a form as to overlap with the outer side of the inner-side frame-shaped part (20b); and an elastic abutting portion (25) provided on the light guide plate holding part (24), and elastically abutting the outer-side frame-shaped part (21b).
