Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a lighting device and an imaging system with which a light direction can be changed without making the device configuration complex or large. In order to solve this problem, this lighting device (10) is characterized by being provided with a light source (11), and a variable focus lens (12) that enables the optical axis direction of incident light to be changed with the lens position in a fixed state. The lighting device is further characterized in that light emitted from the light source (11) is made to enter an optical lens (13) by changing the optical axis direction using the variable focus lens (12).
