Abstract:
A lighting device in which optical sheets can be hung from the top of a chassis in a simple configuration is provided. In the lighting device (4), which is equipped with a chassis (14) having a shallow box shape supported in the vertical direction, light sources (13) positioned inside the chassis (14), and optical sheets (7 to 9) positioned in front of the chassis (14), projecting pieces (7a to 9a) that extend toward the back side are formed on the top edges of the optical sheets (7 to 9), and each projecting piece (7a to 9a) is supported by the top of the chassis (14). Since the optical sheets (7 to 9) are configured in this way so as hang from the top of the chassis (14) due to the weight of the optical sheets (7 to 9), wrinkles can be prevented from forming in the optical sheets (7 to 9), and the projecting pieces (7a to 9a) can be integrally formed with the optical sheets (7 to 9), rather than with separate members to the optical sheets (7 to 9). Thus, the number of man-hours required to assemble the lighting device can be reduced, and the number of components in the lighting device can be reduced.
