Abstract:
Provided is a lighting device capable of housing and fixing a plurality of light guide plates inside a chassis. The lighting device has a rectangular box-shaped chassis, a plurality of horizontally long rectangular light guide plates that are housed inside the chassis while arranged in rows on the bottom surface, light sources for introducing light to the respective light guide plates by emitting light to the short-side end surfaces of the respective light guide plates, and a plurality of support members for clamping the respective light guide plates to the bottom surface of the chassis. Each support member has a hold-down section that is brought into contact with the top surfaces of respective light guide plates at the long-side edges, a shank section that extends from the hold-down section, and a pair of locking pieces elastically deformable toward and away from each other that are provided on the leading end of the shank section and are inserted and engaged in mounting holes on the bottom plate.
