Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lighting device and a method for controlling the amount of heat generated thereby. A lighting device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises at least one semiconductor package (100) comprising a semiconductor chip and a lead frame electrically connected thereto. The lead frame has at least one selected from a heat-radiating hole (40) and openings (60, 70, 71, 80) and thereby radiates heat generated by the semiconductor chip.
