Abstract:
The invention relates to an lighting device (1) for a motor vehicle (K), comprising a housing (10), at least one illuminant (51, 52), which at least contributes to realising a defined light function (LF3), and at least one light cover (20). According to the invention, the light cover (20) is at least also used, indirectly or directly, as a holder for the at least one illuminant (51, 52). As a result, further design scope can be created so that lighting devices can on the one hand be imbued with a high recognition value and on the other can realise the required light functions.
