Abstract:
A lighting device according to the present disclosure comprises: a light source; a phase-modulation liquid crystal panel having a plurality of pixels where each pixel modulates the phase of light from the light source; a modulation signal correction unit for correcting the pixel modulation signal for any target pixel among a plurality of pixels on the basis of the pixel modulation signal for at least one peripheral pixel located in the periphery of the target pixel to reduce the amount of deviation from a desired modulation amount for the target pixel; and an application voltage generation unit for generating an application voltage to be supplied to each pixel on the basis of a pixel modulation signal corrected by the modulation signal correction unit.
