Abstract:
Provided is a lighting device for a vehicle, the lighting device being configured so that, even if a projection lens formed using a resin material is used in the lighting device, the accuracy of mounting of the projection lens is not degraded by heat generated by a semiconductor light emitting section.
A lighting device (10) for a vehicle comprises: a semiconductor light emitting section (13); a projection lens (22) for projecting light, which has been emitted from the semiconductor lighting section (13), in a predetermined light distribution pattern; a heat sink member (11) having the semiconductor light emitting section (13) mounted thereto; and a plate member (21) provided between the projection lens (22) and the heat sink member (11) and having lower heat conductivity than the heat sink member (11). The projection lens (22) is a resin lens. At least a part of a surface of the plate member (21), the surface facing the projection lens (22), is a lens-side diffusion surface (21h).
