Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a lighting device with power generation function, which is able to suppress increase in the production cost and increase in the size.
[Solution] A lighting device (400) according to the present invention is provided with: a light emitting device (200); a heat sink (401) that internally has a hollow part (401b); a light transmitting cover (402); and a thermoelectric element (1). The thermoelectric element (1) comprises: a casing part (10) that has a container part; a first electrode part that is arranged within the container part and a second electrode part that has a work function which is different from the work function of the first electrode part; and an intermediate part that contains nanoparticles, while having a work function that is between the work function of the first electrode part and the work function of the second electrode part. The casing part (10) is arranged on an inner surface (401b) of the hollow part (401a) of the heat sink (401).
