Abstract:
A lighting device capable of performing a satisfactory illumination by efficiently leading a light beam from a light source to an illumination member and reducing a cost, comprising a pointer (2) rotated about a rotating shaft (1), a dial (3) as an indication member disposed on the rear side of the pointer (2) and illuminated by transmission, light emitting diodes (6) positioned at the rear of the dial (3) near the rotating shaft (1) and forming a light source illuminating the indicator part (13) of the dial (3), a case (20) positioned on the rear side of the dial (3) and forming a reflection body having a reflection part (30), and a light leading body (19) positioned at the rear of the dial (3) and leading the light beam from the light emitting diodes (6) to the rear side of the dial (3), wherein a space part (29) is formed between the rear surface of the dial (3) and the case (20), an injection part (27) injecting light beam to the space part (29) is provided in the light leading body (19), and the light beams from the light emitting diodes (6) are injected from the injection part (27) of the light leading body (19) to the space part (29) and reflected by the reflection part (30) so as to illuminate the indicator part (13) of the dial (3).
