Abstract:
A lighting device (1) is provided with a light emitting section (4) having light emitting diodes, and also with a fixing section (5) for fixing the light emitting section (4) to the head of a medical worker. Application of light of the light emitting section (4) eliminates the need of a shadowless lamp. Since the light emitting section (4) is fixed to the head of the medical worker, the light emitting section (4) moves following the movement of the medial worker. Also, the medical worker can change the direction of application of the light as desired by moving the head. Further, a surgical operation can be safely performed by using a supplemental lighting section (6) and a camera (22).
