Abstract:
Disclosed is a lighting device using LED elements as light sources, said lighting device having improved safety due to a reduction in weight and also due to prevention of use in incorrect fixtures. A plurality of lighting devices can be seamlessly put together, thereby illuminating a large area without creating shadows. The lighting device (A) is provided with: LED elements (1); a base member (3) in which the LED elements (1) are arranged and mounted; a cover member (4) inside which the base member (3) is fitted and through which light emitted from the LED elements (1) passes; and a fixture (5) into which the cover member (4) is slid and attached, said sliding taking place in the direction in which the LED elements (1) are arranged. The cover member (4) is supported by the fixture (5) along the entire range of movement through which the cover member can slide against the fixture (5). This results in the cover member (4) being securely supported by the fixture (5), so the danger of the cover member coming loose from the fixture (5) and falling, due to the weight of the cover member or vibration, is low.
