Title:
LIGHTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/140197
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a lighting device capable of preventing incorrect remote control operation. A remote control light-receiving unit (45) receives an infrared beam from a built-in infrared LED in a remote control operated by a user, extracts a signal transmitted from the remote control, and outputs the extracted signal to a controlling microcomputer (35). The carrier frequency of the signal transmitted from the remote control is 38 kHz. A PWM control circuit (34) performs PWM control using an arbitrary PWM frequency in the range of 300 Hz – 3 kHz. The PWM frequency and the frequency of the signal used for remote control (carrier frequency) are separated into different bands so as to prevent the remote control signal from being affected when a light source is turned on using PWM control in order to prevent incorrect remote control operation.
