Abstract:
A lighting device in an embodiment is provided with the following: a substrate that contains a ceramic in at least the surface thereof; a light-emitting element provided on the surface of the substrate; a wiring pattern that is provided on the surface of the substrate and is electrically connected to the light-emitting element; an enclosing-wall member provided so as to enclose the light-emitting element; a joining part provided between the substrate and the enclosing-wall member; and a covering part that is provided between the substrate and the joining part and contains a glass material.
