Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a reduction in thickness, size, and costs, while allowing outgoing light from a light source to shine broadly and uniformly without being affected by wiring and dissipating heat from a lighting circuit board efficiently. A lighting device according to the present invention comprises a lamp main body to be mounted onto a mounting part, and a transparent cover to be attached to the lamp main body. The lamp main body comprises a light source, a board whereon the light source is mounted, a lighting circuit board for supplying power to the light source, and a protection cover for covering the board and the lighting circuit board. The protection cover is constituted by fitting a plurality of protection cover fitting parts, and the lighting circuit board is disposed inside a protection cover piece in such a manner as to not cross over a fitting portion between the plurality of protection cover pieces.
