Abstract:
This lighting device for illuminating an illumination surface with light comprises: a light source; and a lens having an entry surface that receives light emitted from the light source and having an emission surface from which the light received at the entry surface is emitted. The emission surface is a convex curved surface. The curvature of the emission surface in a first direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction of the lens is smaller than the curvature of the emission surface in a second direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction and the first direction.
