Abstract:
A lighting device comprises a housing, a light source, a wavelength conversion member, a wavelength separation filter, and a lens optical system. The housing has a first opening. The light source emits excitation light. The wavelength conversion member is located inside the housing. The excitation light from the light source is incident on the wavelength conversion member. The wavelength conversion member emits, on the basis of the excitation light, fluorescence having a spectrum different from that of the excitation light. The wavelength separation filter is located inside the housing, guides the excitation light from the light source to the wavelength conversion member, and guides the fluorescence from the wavelength conversion member to the first opening. The lens optical system comprises one or more first lenses. The first lens is located between the wavelength separation filter and the wavelength conversion member inside the housing, focuses the excitation light on the wavelength conversion member, and transmits the fluorescence from the wavelength conversion member toward an effective surface of the wavelength separation filter.
