Abstract:
The present invention improves the sense of spaciousness in a space. An air conditioner comprises: a casing having a suction port, a blowout port, and a lighting opening that is at a position visible to a user when in an installed state; a blower provided to a wind path connecting the suction port and the blowout port; a first light source provided inside the casing; a light-emitting body provided at a position inside the casing that is visible from the lighting opening, the light-emitting body having a light incidence part on which light emitted from the first light source is incident, and a first light emission part that emits first light generated on the basis of the light, the first light including light that imitates natural light; and a light retrieval part provided to at least one position inside the casing that is in the surroundings of the light-emitting body, the light retrieval part emitting second light that has reached an end part of the light-emitting body without being emitted as first light within the light that was incident on the light-emitting body, or emitting second light that was incident from the first light source or a second light source different from the first light source without passing through the light-emitting body, toward a space outside of the casing, the space facing the lighting opening. The light retrieval part is provided in the wind path.
