Abstract:
This lighting instrument comprises: an internal electrode having inside a gas supply path through which circulates a plasma-generating gas; an external electrode arranged separated from the internal electrode outside of the internal electrode; and an irradiation port that discharges at least one of plasma and activated gas generated by the plasma. The internal electrode has an exhaust port that exhausts the plasma-generating gas introduced inside, and the external electrode faces the internal electrode more to the irradiation port side than the exhaust port.
