Abstract:

The inventive lighting rod comprises a first power unit (P) for collecting wind and/or solar energy (3b, 14, 6), converting it into electric energy and storing, a second pulse unit (I) for capturing and storing (7) an environmental static electric energy near thunderstorm clouds and compatible means for switching-on said pulse unit for discharging an ascending leader stroke and the power unit for maintaining the propagation of said leader stroke according to specified values.
