Abstract:
Provided is a lighting system capable of supplying sufficient electric power to light-emitting elements. The lighting system includes: a lifting device which has a reel wire extending downward therefrom and changes the length of the reel wire; and a lighting device which is connected to the reel wire and is raised and lowered with change in the length of the reel wire. The reel wire supplies electric power from a power supply device to the lighting device. The lighting device includes: a storage battery which receives and stores the electric power supplied through the reel wire; and a light-emitting element which receives the electric power supplied through the reel wire and electric power supplied from the storage battery and emits light.
