Abstract:
This lighting unit (100) is provided with a light source (10) and a diffuser (12). The light source (10) emits light (Li). The diffuser (12) includes an incident surface (13), a diffusion section (12a), and a reflection surface (16). The diffusion section (12a) guides light (Lt) and scatters the light (Lt) with nanoparticles (122) to produce scattered light (Ls). The reflection surface (16) reflects, as reflected light (Ll), the light (Lt) that is not scattered but guided. The incident surface (13) is formed at an end section (23a) of the diffuser (12). The reflection surface (16) is formed at an end section (23b) that the light (Lt) guided by the diffusion section (12a) reaches. The scattered light (Ls) is emitted from a region (14a). The reflected light (Ll) is emitted from a region (14b) different from the region (14a). The correlated color temperature of the scattered light (Ls) is higher than light (Li).
