Abstract:
A lightning arrester, comprising: a lightning arrester body (101); a monitoring device configured to detect the condition that the lightning arrester body is subjected to electric shock; a grounding valve disc (102) connected between the lightning arrester body and a ground wire; an energy obtaining device capable of generating electric energy by using heat produced by the grounding valve disc and a voltage difference between both sides of the grounding valve disc; and an energy storage device (104) capable of storing the electric energy generated by the energy obtaining device, wherein the energy storage device is connected to the monitoring device to power the monitoring device. The lightning arrester can generate electricity therein by using heat energy and the voltage difference.
