Abstract:
A lightning protection system (100) for protecting electric equipment (5) from lightning strikes comprises at least one processor and a memory that stores a program to be executed by the at least one processor. The at least one processor receives, in accordance with the program, information regarding at least one thundercloud approaching the electric equipment to be protected. The at least one processor uses the received information and sets the position where a conductive channel will develop in each thundercloud and the order of lightning clouds where the conductive channel will develop.
