Abstract:
A lightweight aluminum-based composite material transmission disk (10) for use in chain and belt drive apparatus, comprising an inner disk (11) and an outer transmission ring (12). At least one of the inner disk and the outer transmission ring is made of lightweight aluminum-based composite material. The specific stiffness of the aluminum-based composite material is not less than GPa/g/cm3, which is greater than that of existing metals, reducing the weight of the transmission disk. Thus, the entire chain and belt drive apparatus can maintain excellent transmission performance.
