Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a limb unit and a robot that are capable of reducing a processing load on a body part when motion of each joint is controlled. [Solution] The limb unit is provided with: a control unit that causes a transmission unit to transmit, to a body part, own position and posture information at a first timing based on sensing results of a plurality of joints at the first timing; and a reception unit that receives, from the body part, motion instruction information for a second timing which is after the first timing, based on the own position and posture information at the first timing, wherein the control unit controls motion of the plurality of joints at the second timing on the basis of the motion instruction information for the second timing.
