Abstract:
This limit switch is provided with: a switch body which has a contact point mechanism therein; and an operating section which is connected to the switch body. The operating section has a pivot shaft support which, when an external force acting in a direction in which the pivot shaft extends is not being applied to an operating lever, permits the pivoting of the pivot shaft relative to a housing body, and which, when an external force acting in the direction in which the pivot shaft extends is being applied to the operating lever, is in contact with a peripheral wall to support the pivot shaft.
