Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a limited reflection type sensor capable of expanding a detection area on a short-distance side while maintaining a long-distance side range of the detection area. [Solution] The present invention provides a limited reflection type sensor which irradiates, through an output light lens (121), an object detection area with output light from a light emitting unit (14a), and receives, through a reflection lens (122), reflection light from the object present in the detection area in a light receiving unit (14b), wherein the output light lens (121) or the reflection light lens (122) has a first surface facing the object detection area and a second surface that is opposite to the first surface, and has a toroidal lens area (121b, 122b), on a side, of the second surface, close to the object detection area, and a convex lens area( 121a, 122a), on a side, of the second surface, far from the object detection area, a boundary location between the toroidal lens area (121b, 122b) and the convex lens area (121a, 122a) being different from the center location of the output lens or the reflection lens.
