Abstract:
This limiting circuit limits the output voltage of an operational amplifier, thereby improving the quality of an output voltage signal. The limiting circuit is equipped with a short-circuit transistor and a gate voltage supply unit. When the voltage between a gate and an input terminal of the operational amplifier exceeds a prescribed threshold voltage, the short-circuit transistor of this limiting circuit short circuits a path between the input terminal and an output terminal of the operational amplifier. Moreover, the gate voltage supply unit of the limiting circuit supplies a voltage to the gate according to the threshold voltage and the output voltage of the output terminal.
