Abstract:
This linear actuator is provided with: a fixed rod having at least two magnets and at least one inner yoke, wherein the magnets and the inner yoke are alternately connected and the same poles of the magnets positioned on both sides are connected to the inner yoke; a cylindrical movable coil into which the fixed rod is inserted and which is movable with respect to the fixed rod in a direction in which the magnets and the inner yoke are connected; and an outer yoke disposed in a fixed state and covering at least parts of the fixed rod and the movable coil from the outer peripheral side. Since the outer yoke, the magnets, and the inner yoke each constitute a fixed portion and the movable coil constitutes a movable portion, this makes it possible to improve drive force by suppressing the occurrence of detent force and the occurrence of leakage magnetic flux during driving and ensure the stable operation state of a movable body.
