Abstract:
A linear actuator 1 that has: a mobile body 6; a fixed body 2; a magnetic drive mechanism 10 that makes the mobile body 6 move linearly in a first direction X relative to the fixed body 2; and a damper member 91 that is provided between the mobile body 6 and the fixed body 2. The magnetic drive mechanism 10 has: a coil holder 4 that is provided to the fixed body 2; a coil 5 that is supported by a coil support part 40 of the coil holder 4; a first yoke 81 that is provided to the mobile body 6; and a first permanent magnet 71 that is held by the first yoke 81. The damper member 91 is provided between the first yoke 81 and the coil holder 4 where portions thereof face in a second direction Y. As a result, the damper member 91 can be provided between the fixed body 2 and the mobile body 6 without the use of a case.
