Abstract:
A linear conveyor (1) is provided with a plurality of modules (2) constituting a conveyance path (1A) and a slider (3) that travels along the conveyance path (1A). The linear conveyor (1) is provided with at least one relay unit (31) arranged across adjacent modules (2). First and second module-side connection sections (42a, 42b) are provided to each module (2) on the same surfaces on both ends in the direction following the conveyance path (1). The first module-side connection sections (42a) are connected in a line so as to be aligned on one side in the direction following the conveyance path (1A). The relay unit (31) is provided with: a first unit-side connection section (32b) directly connected to the second module-side connection section (42b) of one module (2) in a set of adjacent modules (2); a second unit-side connection section (32c) directly connected to the first module-side connection section (42a) of the other module (2); and a first circuit (37) that electrically connects the first and second unit-side connection sections (32b, 32c) to each other.
