Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a linear extension and shortening mode based image scaling method. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, compressing row by row an original image matrix composed of image pixels using a Linearlization or OptimalPLR compression method to obtain a line segment segmentation form; step 2, under magnification or minification, extending line segments through Policy I or Policy II and shortening the line segments through resampling, thus obtaining a row magnified or minified image; and step 3, using the step 2 to magnify column by column the row magnified data in the step 2 to obtain a column magnified image, thus obtaining an integrally magnified image, or using the step 2 to shorten column by column the row minified data in the step 2 to obtain a column minified image, thus obtaining an integrally minified image. The present invention can compress both static image data and image data of dynamic data streams directly on the basis of an image scaling technology of PLA compressed data, and has high speed and less occupied memory.
