Abstract:
The invention addresses the technical problem of devising a luminaire which can be extended to any length, consists of a plurality of individual modules, is easy to assemble and disassemble, and preferably uses LED lighting technology. According to the invention, the problem is solved by implementing metal profiled element modules (1) using simple connecting elements (3, 4) that are adapted to said metal profiled element modules (1) and allow said metal profiled element modules (1) to be interconnected securely; and by securing the electrical connecting means to extendable or retractable installation brackets (7) thus allowing current to be supplied, passed on or fed back from metal profiled element module (1) to metal profiled element module (1) in a simple manner, the aligned metal profiled element modules (1) being devoid of any intermediate spaces and therefore achieving a compact unit for said linear luminaire.
