Abstract:
Provided is a linear motion guide device which has a low noise level and operates satisfactorily. A groove (36) in a return guide (35) and a raceway groove (11) in a slider (2) are not smoothly continuous with each other at the connection portion where the groove (36) and the raceway groove (11) are connected, and a step (44) is formed at the connection portion. At and near the bottom (11a) of the raceway groove (11) in the slider (2), the surface of the raceway groove (11) in the slider (2) is located closer to the center of curvature (O) of the raceway groove (11) in the slider (2) than the surface of the groove (36) in the return guide (35). At and near a shoulder (11b) of the raceway groove (11) in the slider (2), the surface of the groove (36) in the return guide (35) is located closer to the center of curvature (O) of the raceway groove (11) in the slider (2) than the surface of the raceway groove (11) in the slider (2).
