Abstract:
This linear motion guide unit comprises a rail, a casing, a plurality of rolling elements, and a pair of direction-changing members. The rail has a rail-side rolling surface. The casing has a pair of sleeve portions. The pair of sleeve portions each have a casing-side rolling surface formed thereon. The casing has a return path formed thereon. The pair of direction-changing members each have a direction-changing path formed thereon. The linear motion guide unit is provided with a holding member. The holding member includes a first end face. One of the pair of direction-changing members, which opposes the first end face, includes a second end face. One of the first end face and the second end face has formed thereon a projecting portion that projects toward the other of the first and second end faces. The other of the first and second end faces has formed therein an insertion hole in which the projecting portion can be inserted. The projecting portion has a shape that corresponds to the shape of the insertion hole. The projecting portion has a shape in which the distance from the center of gravity to an outer circumferential surface is changed.
