Abstract:
The problem addressed by this invention is to provide a linear motor with which it is possible to reduce size, improve the ease of replacement work for sliding components, and increase service life. This linear motor 5 comprises a field element having a permanent magnet 8B; and an armature 7 having a coil 7B wound around a core 7A, the field element or the armature 7 is a stator. The armature 7 or field element is a mover 8 which undergoes reciprocal movement in the gap sandwiched by the stators. The mover 8 comprises: a working part 8A1 formed in the central part in the direction of movement; a shaft 9A provided so as to extend in the direction of movement on the outside of the working part 8A1; a mounting member 9D which holds the shaft 9A, and is mounted by screws 18 to the stator; and a guide sliding member 9C which slides along the shaft 9A and is held inside the mounting member 9D. This guide sliding member 9C is detachable with respect to the shaft 9A.
