Abstract:

This linear motor device is equipped with: a first linear motor and a second linear motor, the movers of which move in the same direction in conjunction with each other; a first control unit for allowing said first linear motor to generate thrust and apply a load through said mover to an object to be pressured; and a second control unit for controlling the thrust that said second linear motor is allowed to generate. When said first control unit allows the load to be applied to said object to be pressured, said second control unit allows said second linear motor to generate thrust for compensating for an external force occurring to said mover.
