Abstract:
Provided is a linear motor wherein the burden on a support mechanism and the force pulsation are small, and the pulsation can be adjusted. The linear motor is configured from a plurality of magnetic poles which are disposed so as to sandwich and hold magnets disposed in a movable element therebetween, a core which continuously connects the magnetic poles that sandwich and hold the magnets of the movable element therebetween, a winding wound around all of the plurality of magnetic poles, and the movable element configured by a magnet row in which the magnetic poles of the magnets are alternately arranged, or the magnet row in which the polarities of the magnets are alternately arranged and a magnetic material. A plurality of magnetic poles which are disposed so as to sandwich and hold the magnets therebetween, and a plurality of magnetic poles having the core which continuously connects the magnetic poles that hold the magnets are disposed along the longitudinal direction of the movable element, the winding common to the plurality of magnetic poles is disposed, and by making the polarities of the disposed plurality of magnetic poles the same polarity, the leakage flux between the magnetic poles is reduced, thereby enabling reductions in size and weight.
