Abstract:
The present invention relates to a linear movement device using bamboo material. The present invention has a simple structure, is capable of improving product quality characteristics, and can be manufactured at a substantially reduced cost. The linear movement device according to the present invention includes a moving element which has a sliding surface in the body thereof, and a guiding means having a guiding surface corresponding to the sliding surface of the moving element so as to guide the moving element. At least one of the sliding surface of the moving element and the guiding surface of the guiding means is formed of the bamboo material. The bamboo material is formed of laminated bamboo in which a plurality of bamboo strips are connected or compression molded as a single unit.
