Abstract:

A linear stitching and cutting apparatus comprising: an upper clamp and a lower clamp (1), a staple cartridge (2) arranged at a distal end of the lower clamp (1), a firing piece (3) movably arranged relative to the staple cartridge (2), and a blade-pushing rod (5) having installed at a distal end thereof a cutting blade (4). The firing piece (3) and the blade-pushing rod (5) are kept relatively still. The linear stitching and cutting apparatus also comprises a lower safety block (8). The lower safety block (8) comprises a limiting protruding block (81). When the linear stitching and cutting apparatus is in an initial state in that the staple cartridge (2) is not yet installed onto the lower clamp (1), at least a part of the limiting protruding block (81) is arranged on the path of movement of the firing piece (3). The safety mechanism of the linear stitching and cutting apparatus is structurally simple, convenient to process, also safe and reliable.
