Abstract:
A linear transport system (51) comprises: movable units (1P-1R) having permanent magnets; fixed units (2a-2c) having coils that generate magnetic fields for driving the movable units and arranged in a connected manner so as to form a conveyance path along which the movable units move; stator control units (3a-3c) that energize the coils and detect the positions of the movable units; and a controller unit (4) that generates a current command for driving the movable units on the basis of position information on the positions of the movable units and outputs the current command to the stator control units. The movable units include, of the movable units, an output movable unit to which an output device that outputs energy or data is mounted and processing movable units to which processing devices (21, 22) that are used for processing an object to be processed and are connected to the output device by cables to receive energy or data from the output device are mounted. The controller unit controls the output movable unit and the processing movable units.
