Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to make a linear vibration motor thin. Stable vibration is obtained which suppresses the generation of an operating sound (abnormal noise) by a mover rotating about a vibration axis, even if the mover is flattened, and has no rattling. This linear vibration motor 1 is provided with: a mover 10 provided with a magnet part 4, a weight part 7, and a yoke 11; a frame body 2 for accommodating the mover 10; a coil 3 that is fixed to the frame body 2 and applies a driving force to the magnet part 4 so as to cause the mover 10 to vibrate reciprocally along a uniaxial direction; and an elastic member 6 that applies to the mover 10 an elastic force that repels the driving force applied to the magnet part 4. A magnetic material part (magnetic material piece 12) that extends along the mover 10 in the vibration direction is provided to the inner surface of the frame body 2, and the yoke 11 has a protruding section 11A close to the magnetic material part (magnetic material piece 12).
