Abstract:
The present invention relates to a liner which is suitable for covering an adhesive tape. Said liner can be split. The invention further relates to a double-sided adhesive tape covered with said liner and to a coil having such an adhesive tape wound thereon. The liner according to the invention is intended to project beyond at least one of the two edges of the actual adhesive tape. The invention reduces the tendency to fold during winding and unwinding of a thick, preferably foamed adhesive tape. In addition, it makes such a coil more stable. The invention also relates to a method for producing said type of adhesive tape coil; and to the use thereof for producing composite articles in particular for self-adhesive finishing of profiles.
